OvationTix is a web-based box office software and ticketing service provided by TheaterMania.com, Inc. Since 1999 our company has been dedicated to providing easy-to-use robust technology and services to support commercial and not-for-profit arts and event producers so that they can achieve their goals. Our affordable technology empowers users to manage their activities with ease in real time. Our clients tell us what they need and we respond, because we believe that when our clients are happy we all succeed together!

Gretchen Shugart Gretchen Shugart, CEO
I joined the company in January 2001. Prior to that, I spent many years financing media and technology companies, while serving on not-for-profit boards and enjoying the arts in my spare time. I am fortunate to have a career that allows me to combine my passions for the arts, entertainment and business, and to have great clients and co-workers.
Darren Sussman Darren Sussman, President
In 1999, I co-founded TheaterMania with theater producer, Joe Corcoran, while we were searching for ways to promote ticket sales online. Before TheaterMania, I spent several years working in the music industry. It’s exciting being part of a growing and evolving technology company, and a privilege to connect audiences and the arts through our work.
David Stanke David Stanke, Chief Technology Officer
I facilitate our incredibly talented engineering group to understand our clients’ needs and deliver an intuitive, reliable, secure software platform. Before joining the team in 2002, I oversaw design and development for a high-velocity Web design firm. I’ve worked with companies of all sizes in industries ranging from entertainment to healthcare, and I enjoy the challenge of approaching technology from many perspectives.
John Issendorf John Issendorf, Senior Vice President of Business Development
Since 2002 I’ve been with TheaterMania/OvationTix working in Sales and Business Development. I am a native New Yorker with a B.A. in Theater from Hunter College. I have personally experienced and understand the needs of producing, directing and selling tickets to shows and, as a consumer, I happily attend performing arts 2 to 3 times a week. I truly appreciate your challenges and try to make sure our technology and services support your organization.

I have had the great pleasure of working directly with our ticketing partners across the country since I joined the company in 2006. I draw on my prior experiences as an IT professional and a box office manager, to help our clients. It's exciting to learn about their businesses and use that knowledge to make us smarter, and our services better.

I’ve had over a decade of experience building robust enterprise web applications using the latest technologies for IBM. I enjoy applying technologies to deliver superior user experience.

I'm proud to lead an outstanding group of agents committed to selling customers an amazing night out on the town through honest and caring customer support. I started with the company in 2009 as a customer service agent and hold a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Speech and Theatre from Middle Tennessee State University. I enjoy working with clients to help deliver a terrific night out for their patrons.
